Hello Students and Families,

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to Ethel M. Taylor Junior High.

This year, our theme is “Be the Spark, Fuel the Movement.” This isn’t just a saying; it’s a call to action for every student, teacher, and family member in our community. We are building a culture where students embody the S.P.A.R.K. values (Self-Control, Persevere, Accountable, Respect, and Knowledge). We believe that each one of you holds a unique potential—a spark of curiosity, creativity, and kindness. Our goal is to help you ignite that spark and, together, create a powerful movement of learning, growth, and positive change.

As your leader, I am committed to fostering an environment where every student feels empowered to explore new ideas, challenge themselves, and find their voice. We’re here to provide the tools and support you need to turn that initial spark into a roaring fire of knowledge and leadership.
